Nut free cakes

All of my cakes are vegan, but I also offer nut free options.

Very annoyingly, my white chocolate supplier has added almonds to their recipe. While I can use another white chocolate for those with nut allergies, it is very difficult to get my hands on it – and incredibly expensive! Do let me know if you need a nut free cake as all the flavours iced with white chocolate ganache contain almonds per default.

This is the list of cakes I make nut free:

How do you guarantee they are nut free?

While I do my absolute best to make sure the contamination risks are at their lowest, I cannot guarantee that nut free cakes will be absolutely free of traces of nut (also because some of the ingredients I use are nut free, but still have the “may contain traces of nuts” mention).

If an allergy is mentioned, then I never bake a nut free cake on the same day as a non nut free cake. I also keep all nuts separated from the rest of my ingredients. Everything is thoroughly cleaned and all surfaces are disinfected daily. Cloths are also washed and replaced daily at a minimum.
