One thing I keep hearing my couples say is that they love how my cakes tables look. Not the just the cake itself – although we can all agree they’re bloody amazing – this is obviously a joke if you’re wondering – but the whole cake experience it sells: the table, the decor, the linen, the way it is styled.
A cake, as beautiful as it looks, can only truly be made a statement if it is surrounded by things that make it stand out.
So instead of having your cake – that your designer has spent hours and hours creating, for which you spent money and time dreaming – shoved into a dark corner of the room, with a creased tablecloth and a cake stand that has nothing to do with the style of the cake, have it as a centrepiece, as one of the focal points of your wedding.
The things I can source and hire for you:

  • flower installations;

  • balloon installations;

  • plinths, tables, swings to put the cake on;

  • hand died bamboo silk ribbons, runners, tablecloths;

  • little props such as candles, little vases, terrariums;

  • backdrops;

  • handpainted signage;

  • ribbons, tassels, pompoms, pinatas;

  • vintage china;

  • crystals;

  • cake stands and plates…

And obviously desserts!
If you have any other ideas for your cake table, let’s chat about them and make them happen! I have quite a few contacts in the industry that make their own props so it’s usually possible to create the coolest things for your cake.
